Course 1: SRS20306-CERTIFICATE II IN SPORT COACHING (TENNIS) Duration: 35 weeks including term holidays
The Certificate II in Sport (coaching) offers participants the opportunity to attain the required competencies from a comprehensive range of core, stream and elective units that will prepare them through skill acquisition, underpinning knowledge and practical experience. Students will be able to distinguish the many pathways to a successful career in sport.
The course may be offered on a full-time basis over 35 weeks (520 nominal hours).
Training will be structured to enable students to complete 20 hours study each week. Each unit will be studied individually and the assessment of that unit will be completed during this study period.
Training outcomes of course 1
Completion of the Certificate II in Sport (Coaching) qualification provides the students with the skills necessary to work in the area of sports coaching, sports officiating, sport and recreation organizations, sports clubs and in sports player participation. This course will provide the student with the skills in the following areas:

Course 2: SRO20106-CERTIFICATE II IN SPORT & RECREATION (TENNIS)
Duration:34 weeks including term holidays
The Certificate II in Sport & Recreation offers participants the opportunity to attain the required competencies from a comprehensive range of core, stream and elective units that will prepare them through skill acquisition, underpinning knowledge and practical experience. Students will be able to distinguish the many pathways to a successful career in sport and recreation.The course may be offered on a full-time basis over 34 weeks, (500 nominal hours).
This sports qualification has a large practical training component to it. Training will be structured to enable students to complete 20 hours study each week.

Course 3: SRS50506 DIPLOMA OF SPORT (DEVELOPMENT)
Duration: 51 weeks including term holidays
The Diploma of Sport (Development) course will offer them the opportunity to attain the required competencies from a comprehensive range of core, stream and elective units that will prepare them through skill acquisition, underpinning knowledge and practical experience. Students will be able to distinguish the many pathways to a successful career in sport.
Duration
The course may be offered on a full-time basis over 1 year (800 nominal hours). Training will comprise of 'classroom based theory' supported by on going weekly face to face lectures these will be designed to meet the specific training needs of both groups and individuals. This sports qualification will have a large practical training component to it, allowing the students to practice their skills in a tennis sports settings.
Learners will observe athletes performances to determine the level of instruction required, teaching techniques to acquire new skills or improve existing skills. Supervise practice sessions. Plan, conduct and evaluate individualised long term training programs. Training will be structured to enable students to complete 20 hours study each week. This will include face to face lectures and practical training sessions and self study time. Each unit will be studied individually and the assessment of that unit will be completed during this study period.

SHORT COURSES
Course 4: Short Courses Duration: From one week (10 Hours)
We offer its Short Program on a weekly basis. This intense program can now be the foundation for your own improvement. We have three classes for bigginer, intermediate and advaced players. Each class has 2~10 students.
Course 5: Orientation To Coaching Duration: 4 hours
This course will provide participants with tennis coaching related information and activities. The course content is directed at children's sport and covers basic sport skills, group organisation, planning, child development, safety aspects, modified games and activities as well as administration of junior tennis programs.
(Please note that course 4 and 5 do not lead to a qualification or a statements of attainment and are not recognized as such)

Assessment Process
Gaining a 'Statement of Attainment' or obtaining a ' Diploma' requires more than just attendance at classes. Learning to be a coach is ultimately about learning to teach others. Assessing a student's ability to teach skills requires that each student demonstrate the skills obtained in practical performance demonstrations for assessment. As well they will be asked to demonstrate the knowledge and concepts learned that relate to their new skills.
For all units offered these assessments are held during and at the end of each units study period. Formative Skill and Process Knowledge assessments are held during scheduled class times. Summative /Skill Integration assessments are held once a quarter.

Our orientation program provides students with important and valuable information and assistance. All students are scheduled for an orientation program in accordance with their course program.
